This is Where It Ends

        For my outside reading book, I am reading This Is Where It Ends. This book tells the story of a school shooting through the eyes of four different characters. The shooter is this guy named Tyler. He's pretty sketchy, and no one really likes him. He holds the entire school hostage inside the auditorium except for a few people. The few people that aren't inside the auditorium are running around trying to get help. Tyler killed all of the other people in the school like the janitor and the security guard, so no one was around to help.

       This book is super interesting, and it always keeps you on the edge of your seat. The author goes through the plotline while simultaneously developing the characters. The characters go through their experiences with Tyler and it helps to get to know the characters. So far in the book, Tyler is still kind of a question mark. We are aware that he was going through a tough time and he dropped out of school. But, as the reader, we don't know why necessarily he was so messed up, or why exactly he left school. I am hoping that later in the book, we find out more.
