Every other year, my parents host their good friends who live in Tuscaloosa Alabama to come to our house for a few days and go to the LSU Alabama game. When the game is in Alabama, we go there for the game. So, this past weekend was the game and it was in Tuscaloosa. We drove up after school on Friday and got there around eight o clock. On Saturday, we were all anticipating Alabama's victory.

Every year, we all place bets on the game. My dad kept saying how bad our team is this year but his friend kept insisting that we had a chance. This was said mostly out of pity, but it was reassuring nonetheless. When we got to our seats, our hearts were full of hope, even though deep down, we knew chances were we weren't going to win. It was wishful thinking, sure, but we figured we should try and keep out hopes up. The game ended with Alabama winning, and even though we knew this was likely to happen, we were still disappointed.
