Reading Response

I really liked ATDPTI. I finished it, so I'm trying not to give away anything that happens. I think that Rowdy and Junior's relationship is very interesting. Rowdy is very protective of Junior and will defend him when people bully him. But, when Junior tells Rowdy he's going to Rearden, Rowdy gets really upset and angry. This shows how much Junior meant to Rowdy, but Rowdy has a very tough exterior, so he has to maintain that image even when he is sad, which is probably why he starts hitting Junior.

I was happy that everything is starting to pan out for Junior at Reardan. He's becoming friends with Gordy, and people are pretty nice to him. It's sad how much Junior misses Rowdy. He always talks about him, but Rowdy doesn't really like him anymore.
