Dialogue

        Sarah got into the car after a long Monday when her mom started bombarding her with questions.
        "How was your day? What did you do?" her mom asked with enthusiasm.
        "It was fine. It was school," she said apathetically.
        "What else? What's on tap for this week?" she asked.
        "I don't know. I have a test tomorrow," she said to her mom to get her to stop talking.
        " Oh, really? What's it on?" she practically shouted cheerfully .
        "Spanish," she said flatly.
        "Tu hables espanol?" she said, trying to be funny.
        "Yep, and I have to study so if you don't mind," she said in a futile attempt to ward off her questions.
        "Can you please be nicer?'
        Sarah sighed because she was done with her mom's aggravating questions so she said simply "No."
